Council Family Office, a financial advising company in Dallas, TX, was searching for a clean stationary design in the form of leave-behinds, a set including: a folder, a thank you card, and a blank postcard.
This client is unique in that, unlike another project where I redid their logo design because it was too pixelated, I redid this logo because the original creator didn't keep spacing consistent and stretched the fonts, two huge no-nos in the graphic design community.
Reiterating that they wanted a "clean aesthetic", I went with a white design with embossed logo / logotype. Initially I had used one of their brand colors throughout, but that idea was quickly scrapped. In the end, we used an all white stationary set with a dark blue (also embossed) business card design for the pop of color.
The process included updating the logo for standard design practices and consistent communication with the client.
