Homeowners, (35+), with disposable income. They are mid-upper class clients who are looking to improve their home with custom flooring options; patio updates; driveway updates; and/or garage flooring updates.
Concrete Canvas also treats businesses with concrete needs.
Concrete Canvas Dallas is contracting company with an expertise in everything concrete: polished concrete, stained concrete, stamped concrete, epoxy, you name it! The owner, Ryan, and his team are experts in their field with a solid approval rating across the board.
At the time, Ryan was looking to go in a different direction with his website. His old site was good, but it felt very much like a templated design, with lots of text and no real organization.
We spoke at length about his services, his goals, what he wants to include on the site with the capability of integrating a lead form to his CRM, and of course, his audience.
In addition to his website, I decided to clean up his logo as well. The version he sent was fine but very pixelated. I wanted to maintain the integrity of his brand by vectorizing it and kept it as close to the original as possible.
In addition to the logo, I decided to make a blocky pattern that mimics the stamped concrete style he is well known for. This pattern, I thought, would be perfect to break up some sections of content on his site.
After sketching a few wireframe options, I started building the design and actually changed my original idea twice. That's the thing about design, execution and responsive design can pivot a design.
I integrated his YouTube channel and integrated a form to integrate into his CRM using Zapier webhooks and lots of patience.
The end result is cohesive, with only necessary information and a gallery accentuating his skills.
